Graystone Consulting derived its roots from another Morgan Stanley Smith Barney business, the Consulting Group, which was formed in 1973 and has been recognized as a leading registered investment advisor for over three decades.  With a Global Scope, yet local presence, Graystone Consulting represents a select group of highly-qualified, experienced institutional consulting teams located across North America.  Our Barrington, IL based group was formed approximately two decades ago to develop investment and wealth management strategies designed to meet the complex needs of institutional investors.  Our group is led by Institutional Consulting Director George Cook.
